February may be a funny month, with its missing days and all, but it’s a good one. There are many not-to-be-missed art and cultural events happening around the US and beyond on this list here. Groundhog Day, the Super Bowl, Fashion Week, and Chinese New Year….and that’s just in the first 9 days!

February 1
There’s just a few days left to see Paul McCarthy’s solo show “Raw Spinoffs Continuations” at Hauser & Wirth New York.

February 2
It’s Groundhog Day! Celebrate the little guy (hopefully!) not seeing his shadow and head out for the opening night of future Twyla artist Jeff Muhs' solo exhibition Supernature. at Lyon Weir Gallery in Chelsea.

February 3
If you’re in London, go check out Picasso Portraits at the National Portrait Gallery before it’s too late.

February 4
Check out the Chinese New Year Parade and Festival in LA. It’s turning 118 this year, making it one of the city’s oldest traditions.

It’s the Super Bowl! In honor of its Houston location, snack on some queso and BBQ while watching the game and getting your Gaga on.

The inaugural exhibit at the Red Bull Arts Space is Bjarne Melgaard’s ongoing project, The Casual Pleasure of Disappointment. It includes everything from a music video collab with Jim Henson Company to a streetwear label, Narcotic Anonymous.
